Legacy Leopards Defeat Childress in Historic First Victory, 3-1
The Legacy Leopards made history by securing their first-ever victory, defeating Childress 3-1. The Leopards set the tone early, winning the first set 25-17. Although Childress bounced back to take the second set 26-24, the Leopards responded, claiming the third set 28-26 and sealing the win with a 25-21 victory in the fourth set.
Kenedee Pennington led the team with 8 kills, while Ava Fukasawa added 7 kills to the Leopards’ offense. On the defensive side, Lauren Carter recorded 12 digs, helping to fortify Legacy's backline.
